I received my Doctor of Ministry from Amridge University with a focus on Family Therapy. I am a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
I desire to provide aid to teens, young adults, couples, families, service members, and veterans. I specialize in working with individuals in areas including excessive worry, negative thoughts, depression, self-esteem/confidence, relationship issues, and PTSD. I strive to provide a space in which clients feel seen, heard, soothed, and safe.
I have been trained in Counseling on Access to Lethal Means (CALM) Training, Preventing Suicide in Emergency Departments, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for Suicide Prevention, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, and Neurofeedback.
I have a strong desire to reach a range of individuals and provide therapy services that will give them the tools to live healthy lives. Through my journey as a teacher and therapist, I have come to understand the importance of supporting individuals as they learn and develop the tools, strategies, and resources needed to reach their life goals. I believe in using a person-centered approach to aid individuals in achieving their physical, mental, and emotional wellness goals.
